Leadership Institute

Register for 2012's Leadership Institute by January 12

This dynamic program helps prepare young professionals for future leadership roles. As 2012 marks its 7th year, YLNI continues to reach emerging leaders with great potential for impacting northeast Indiana. Through hands-on instruction, small group activities, personal reflection, and sharing, participants in the institute will develop the skills needed to help them advance in their careers and community.

YLNI members come from across the region: entrepreneurs, artists, business gurus, musicians, accountants, students, and more. There’s no strict age limit, but generally, Leadership Institute candidates are 20- or 30-somethings with great ideas and a desire to make a difference, or be a big part of it. They’re passionate about living in a community that gives back as much as they put into it.

For local employers and organizations, this is a great way to invest in emerging talent by demonstrating a commitment to their development. This program allows young professionals to connect to their peers and community while gaining the skills needed for their personal and professional development.

Employers should encourage individuals to apply and consider sponsoring their participation, and allowing participants to attend sessions on Fridays during normal business hours. The Institute consists of five (5) Friday sessions and participants will need to attend a minimum of four (4) sessions to be eligible for graduation.
