YLNI's Get on Board training

Have you thought about serving on a non-profit board but don't know where to start?  Do you already have some experience but still have questions?  Do you not even know what serving on a board entails, but you'd like to decode the mystery?  This workshop will introduce you to the board basics you'll want to know in order to be a stellar board member, and to decide if board service is right for you.

Our program will be facilitated by the Paul Clarke Nonprofit Resource Center.  Special guest speaker Andy Downs will also be on hand to provide information on serving on local civic boards & commissions.

Space is limited and the event is open (on a first-come, first-served basis) to anyone in the YLNI network. Light refreshments will be served.  RSVP to rsvp@ylni.org. Please put "5/20 Get on Board event" in the subject line.
