Getting Involved with YLNI

You can be as involved in YLNI as you choose to be. To become part of the YLNI network, you simply need to sign up for the weekly e-mail newsletter to find out what YLNI and community events are coming up. Since YLNI began in 2005, our network has grown from a handful of really excited people to 1000+ friends in the region.

There are no obligations to attend events; go to the events that pique your interest. To become acquainted with YLNI, we encourage you to attend a monthly Hot Spot, where you can meet people in the network, members and leadership, and exchange business cards. Don’t be nervous about being a new face—there’s a welcome point at all events to help you get to know others.

If you’d like to have more impact by helping plan events or initiatives, consider getting involved in one of our YLNI committees, which ensure that YLNI is growing and benefitting our members and the community.

If you want to gain more experience and form deeper connections, volunteer your time with the YLNI leadership team as a task force leader, committee chair, or even a board member. It’s a lot of work, but you’ll be able to represent our members to the community at large and help chart the course for YLNI’s organizational goals and growth.

4 easy steps to get involved:

  1. Sign up for the e-newsletter at YLNI.org.
  2. Go to a networking Hot Spot. Find the next one on the events calendar at YLNI.org.
  3. Attend more events, seminars or special activities that interest you.
  4. Volunteer your time with one of our initiatives and help lead YLNI.
