Join us for a dynamic and engaging Tough Talk hosted by YLNI’s Community Impact Committee, focused on intergenerational communication and leadership in the workplace.
Tough Talks is a platform designed to foster authentic, meaningful conversations among community members of all ages and professional backgrounds. This session creates a welcoming space to explore how workplace language shapes understanding, relationships, and impact across generations.
Through small-table, guided discussions, participants will engage with both emerging and experienced professionals to share perspectives, challenge assumptions, and build practical communication skills.
What to Expect
This interactive workshop will explore:
Intention vs. interpretation in workplace communication
Navigating feedback conversations (giving and receiving)
Raising concerns effectively across levels of seniority
