The Power Lunch series, spanning from August to November, offers three intimate lunchtime sessions. Each session features small groups of emerging leaders meeting with a community leader, fostering candid exchanges and allowing for insightful discussions. Over four months, these consistent interactions enable participants to forge enduring relationships with influential figures in the community.

Our 2026 Power Lunch Community Leaders
Dr. Eve-Lynn Clarke, Dean of the College of Business, Indiana Tech
Dr. Eve-Lynn Clarke, currently Dean of Indiana Tech’s College of Business, served as Associate Dean for three years, providing academic leadership, strategic vision, and faculty support. She fosters strategic partnerships through her roles on the College of Business Board of Advisors and Undergraduate Student Advisory Board. Dr. Clarke prioritizes student success and professional development, evident in her innovative courses. Dr. Clarke holds over 10 years of higher education experience and over 20 years in risk management, audit, and IT consulting. She earned degrees from Purdue University, Indiana University, and Indiana Tech, and a graduate certificate in Applied Data Analytics. She maintains CISA, CGEIT, CRISC, CRMA, and CFSA certifications.
Cody Brooks, Deputy Fire Chief, Fort Wayne Fire Department
Cody Brooks, with over 20 years invested in his career as a firefighter in Allen County, currently serves as the Deputy Fire Chief in Fort Wayne. His commitment to providing exceptional service has defined his career. Leading the Fort Wayne Fire Department is an honor, and he supports dedicated firefighters. His passion for the fire service drives him to lead, collaborate, and advance the department while upholding its values. Outside the firehouse, he’s a devoted family man. His wife, Andrea, and their daughters, Claire and Grace, keep him grounded. He also volunteers as a girls softball coach, giving back to his daughters and the community.
Taylor Monaco, Program Manager of Customer Excellence, Fort Wayne Metals
Taylor Monaco, a communications and customer experience leader with 20+ years of experience, has led impactful initiatives across sectors, from tech launches to construction campaigns, strengthening culture, clarifying voice, and elevating customer experiences. As Program Manager of Customer Excellence at Fort Wayne Metals, she drives cross-functional initiatives for speed, clarity, and seamless customer experiences. Known for her curiosity, clarity, and momentum, Taylor is committed to her community. She serves on the Women’s Fund Economic Security Committee, volunteers with Breastie Box, and supports Junior Achievement’s 3DE Program. Outside of work, she’s a proud mom to Lincoln and Finn, married to a Fort Wayne firefighter, and enjoys running or reading.

As a former participant in the power lunch program, I highly recommend this to anyone interested! This format is great for the emerging leaders to learn from and build new relationships that they may not have a chance otherwise. These programs also seem to benefit community leaders and provide a chance to engage with a younger demographic and share helpful insights. We found that organic relationships formed well after the lunch series ended, and we continue to stay in touch today.
